Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive organic dye used in the development of a photoelectric conversion element and a solar cell which use oxide semiconductor particles sensitized with an organic dye.SOLUTION: There is provided an organic dye that is synthesized by six steps from a polythiophene compound (800) obtained, for example, by coupling 2,3-dibromothiophene and 5-formyl-2-thiophene boronic acid with the bis(tri-tert-butylphosphine)palladium catalyst and comprises four thiophene rings, two triarylamine substituents, and two methine parts.SELECTED DRAWING: None
