Abstract:
To provide a novel polyester in which stench of rosin is controlled.
The polyester is a condensation polymer of a carboxylic acid component including modified rosin by a compound shown by General Formula (1), and an alcohol component. In the General Formula (1), R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and L denotes a divalent linking group chosen from the group that consists of an ester group, a chain alkylene group, a cyclic alkylene group, a phenylene group, and a combination of them.
