To effectively remove attachment on the surfaces of fins in a heating tube having fins, as well as to remove deposit between the fins and attachment at the bases of the fins.
A nozzle lance for water jet cleaning comprises a tube-like lance 14 which allows high pressure water 6 to flow therein and nozzle tips 15 for injecting water jet, which are provided at the lance, and performs cleaning by blowing water jet 17 to a heating tube bank. The lance 14 consists of a narrow and long lance which can be inserted into the gaps in the heating tube bank. A plurality of nozzle chips 15 are mounted on the side wall of a lance. Two nozzle chips are provided at positions, each of which are distanced from the other by 180 degrees with respect to the circumferential direction, and the water jets 17 are injected from the nozzle tips, respectively, in the opposite horizontal directions. The nozzle tips are disposed being deviated from each other with respect to the axial direction.
