Title:
NUCLEIC-ACID PROGRAMMABLE PROTEIN ARRAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009150897
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method of analyzing protein at high throughput.

Arrays of polypeptides are generated by translation of nucleic acid sequences encoding the polypeptides at a plurality of addresses on the array. A substrate has a plurality of addresses, and each address of the plurality of addresses provides a substrate having (i) nucleic acid for encoding a first amino acid sequence and a hybrid amino acid sequence containing affinity tag and (ii) a binder for recognizing the affinity tag. An antibody sampled from a specimen is brought into contact with each address of the plurality of addresses, the antibody is detected in each address of the plurality of addresses, each nucleic acid encodes a different microbe-originated antigen, and the detection of the antibody in each address indicates the fact that the specimen is exposed to microbe expressed by this address.
