Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a numerical controller having an origin offset function which need not change an origin offset even when the control axis is re-arranged and in which the number of the origin offsets to be controlled can be small. CONSTITUTION:A reference offset data storing part 15 stores the reference offset for plural control axes to the reference origin inherent to the numeric control lathe stipulated beforehand. An upper cutting tool rest control system origin offset data storing part 16 and a lower cutting tool set control system origin offset data storing part 17 store the origin offset for each control system from a reference origin up to a program origin. A control axis arithmetic part 4 reads and adds the reference offset of the re-arranged control axis and the origin offset of the constituted control system and makes the value into the origin offset.
