Abstract:
PURPOSE:To set a tool offsetting amount found by measurement in the tool offsetting amount memory indicated by an allocated offset number by storing a correlation table showing the correlation between tool numbers and tool offset numbers. CONSTITUTION:A tool offset number selection circuit 23 sends the tool offset number TON1 corresponding to a tool number TN sent from a tool number input circuit 21 after selecting the number TON1 from a previously stored correlation table indicating the correlation between tool numbers and tool offset numbers. A tool offsetting amount setting circuit 30 decides a cursor position from the measuring direction sent from a measuring direction discrimination circuit 11 and the number TON1 and sets the tool offsetting amount sent from a tool offsetting amount arithmetic circuit 14 in the tool offset memory of the tool offset number at the decided cursor position. Therefore, the tool offsetting amount found by recognizing the position of the blade of a tool can be set automatically in the tool offsetting amount memory of an arbitrary offset number.
