Abstract:
To notify a patient who has performed operation of calling a nurse of completion of the calling.SOLUTION: A nurse call system includes: an IMES transmitter 11 installed at an appropriate position in a hospital; a self-propelled robot 6 that on the basis of origination information of the IMES transmitter 11, grasps its own position and moves in a predetermined area in the hospital; and a plurality of base stations 7 enabling radio communication between a control machine 5 and the self-propelled robot 6. The self-propelled robot 6 includes: a speaker 63 for reporting a message using sound; and an area information storage unit 62 for storing map information on a predetermined area. The control machine 4, when a call by a nurse call slave unit 1 is generated, notifies the self-propelled robot 6 of call source information included on a call signal When the call source information is received and the call is a call from a patient in the predetermined area, the self-propelled robot 6 identifies a bed position from the call source information and accesses the patient to report a predetermined message using sound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
