To provide a nursing support device capable of transferring a care-receiver between a bed and a wheelchair very easily without requiring the slightest labor of a care-giver.
A nursing support device is composed of a carrier 30 flatly laid on a bed on which a care-receiver 60 lies, and a wheelchair 10 on which the carrier 30 transformed into a legless chair can be mounted. The carrier 30 can be configured as a legless chair with one end side being a backrest part 32 and the other end side being a seat plate part 31 by bending the one end side at the head side of the care-receiver 60 upward and maintaining the bending state in a predetermined position when the care-receiver 60 lies on his or her back, and is provided with a handle part 36 that projects from at least one side of the sides of the seat plate part 31 and is formed so as to be roughly flush with the seat plate part 31. The wheelchair 10 includes a gripping mechanism 16 for gripping the handle part 36 of the carrier 30, and a slide mechanism 17 that moves the gripping mechanism 16 to the center side of the wheelchair 10.
