To make it possible to fit wires to spectacle lenses by the lens shape outside diameter of these lenses by fixing these wires to the peripheral end faces of the spectacle lenses via stopping members so as not to slide off these surfaces.

The wires 3 consist of metallic springs of a suitable size set slightly shorter than the lens shape outside diameter of the spectacle lenses and connecting parts 3a, 3a are integrally fixed to both free ends thereof. These connecting parts 3a, 3b are freely displaceably inserted into the gaps formed of the hollow grooves 1a formed at the outer peripheral end faces of the spectacle lenses and the hollow grooves 2a formed on the inner peripheral surfaces of rims 2. Further, the connecting parts 3a, 3a are securely held to the outer peripheral surfaces of the spectacle lenses so as not to slide off the grooves by screwing stopping members 2c, 2c, such as connecting screws, into rim holes 2b, 2b opened on both end sides of the rims 2 and pressing the connecting parts 3a, 3a from the outer side. Then, the lengths of the wires 3 are easily adjusted as desired simply by loosening the stopping members 2c, 2c.
