Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool chip processing device capable of preventing chips from being scattered to the outside of a machine from a gap between a column and a fixed cover without using a wiper.SOLUTION: A machine tool 1 is provided with: a chip conveyance device 7 provided on a bed 5; and a chip processing device 8 provided in a gap between a column 2 and a fixed cover 4. The chip processing device 8 is provided with washing gutters 21 fixed to the bottom parts of the respective side surfaces of the column 2 so as to be positioned between the column 2 and the fixed cover 4. The water flow outlets of the washing flow gutters 21 face the chip conveyance device 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
