Abstract:
To provide an observation device capable of estimating with high accuracy a leg part where base displacement occurs in a steel tower having a plurality of leg parts.SOLUTION: The observation device comprises: a detection unit (10) for detecting the amount of inclination change in each of a plurality of leg parts (1A, 1B, 1C and 1D); a database (30) for storing reference data composed of combinations of data about base displacement occurring at least in one of the leg parts (1A, 1B, 1C and 1D) and data about the amount of inclination change in each of the leg parts (1A, 1B, 1C and 1D) due to the base displacement; and a computation unit (30) for comparing the amount of inclination change in each of the leg parts (1A, 1B, 1C and 1D) detected by the detection unit (10) with the reference data stored in the database (30) to estimate a leg part where base displacement occurs and a direction and magnitude of the displacement at the leg part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
