Abstract:
To provide an observation method of an implanted intraocular lens facilitating the observation of a fixing state of the intraocular lens installed in a capsule, development state of aftercataract, and the like.
After an animal eye implanted with the intraocular lens is extracted, the animal oculus is halved from an equator part, an iris is removed therefrom, and the whole lens capsule installed with the intraocular lens is observed with the animal oculus dyed with stain. The migration state of the lens epithelial cell and the fixing state of the intraocular lens in the capsule are evaluated.
