Abstract:

To provide an offset printing device including a mixer for preparing an emulsion ink by mixing and stirring an ink composition for offset printing and water as well as a method using the device and an ink composition for offset printing used therefor.

This offset printing device 1 is equipped with a mixer 11 comprising an ink tank 2 for storing the ink composition for offset printing, a water tank 4 for storing an aqueous component and a mixing tank 8 for preparing the emulsion ink 14 by mixing the ink composition for offset printing with water. In this device 1, the emulsion ink 14 with a varying moisture content is prepared during printing by adjusting and mixing an ink supply for offset printing from the ink tank 2 to the mixing tank 8 and an aqueous component supply from the water tank 4 to the mixing tank 8.
