Abstract:
To provide an oil adsorbing filter which exhibits excellent oil adsorbency irrespective of the kind of oil, can hold adsorbed oil, is excellent in handling properties, and facilitates the recovery of the adsorbed oil by making an oil gelling agent adhere to the surface of a foamed oil-adsorbent polyolefinic resin having open cells.
The oil gelling agent is adhered to the surface of the foamed polyolefinic resin having open cells in which an average air passage time is 10 s or shorter, an average number of bubbles on a straight line 25 mm in length is 15-40, and an average film breakage area ratio is 30-60%.
