Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified oil bypass structure of an oil cooler.SOLUTION: A bypass valve 2 is arranged at a connection portion between a bypass passage 18 in which oil bypassing a heat exchange part of an oil cooler 1 flows, and an outlet side passage 26 in which the oil passed through the heat exchange part 4 flows. The bypass valve 2 comprises a valve element 31 that assumes a cylindrical shape and is formed with an internal passage 34 in the inside of which the oil flows, and the bypass passage 18 is connected from a direction perpendicular to the axis of the valve element 31. When the bypass valve 2 is closed, a flow of the oil from the bypass passage 18 to the outlet side passage 26 is cut off by the valve element 31, and the oil passed through the heat exchange part 4 flows in the internal passage 34. When the bypass valve 2 is opened, the bypass passage 18 and the internal passage 34 are in communication with each other, and the oil passed through the bypass passage 18 can flow in the internal passage 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
