Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of the leakage of oil, even if an oil coating roller is preserved in an erected state and to obtain a stable coating quantity, during use as well by making a shaft center composed of a hollow pipe whose end faces are opened and providing ventholes in the surface of the hollow pipe.
SOLUTION: This oil coating roller is provided with a columnar shaft center and an oil holding layer 3 made of a thick porous structure material incorporating releasing oil and having a porosity of ≥50%. Further, an oil permeation control layer 1 consisting of a composite of a porous fiber structure material and a mixture of silicone rubber and the releasing oil is provided on the surface of the porous structure material and the end parts of the roller are hermetically sealed. The shaft center is composed of the hollow pipe 4 whose end faces are opened and the ventholes 5 are provided in the surface of the pipe 4. At least one or more ventholes 5 are provided in the surface of the hollow pipe 4 within the range of 0-0.25a from the central point between both end faces, when the distance between both end faces of the perforated hollow pipe 4 is defined as (a).
