Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil filter removing tool capable of certainly removing an oil filter from an engine element, even if the oil filter is securely fixed to the engine element, and easily removing the oil filter after removing that from the engine element.SOLUTION: An oil filter removing tool has a base portion 2, a projecting portion 3 raised on the base portion 2 and capable of piercing the oil filter, and an engaging portion 4 provided on the base portion 2 and engaging a tool for rotating the base portion 2. The engaging portion 4 is provided on a surface disposed oppositely to a surface opposite to a surface attached to an engine element of the oil filter. While the projecting portion 3 pierces the oil filter, the tool is engaged with the engaging portion 4 to rotate the base portion 2. Therefore, the projecting portion 3 can rotate the oil filter to remove the oil filter from the engine element.
