Abstract:
To provide an oil filter capable of developing an internal leak preventing function and a drain-back preventing function using a simply shaped seal member.SOLUTION: In an oil filter 1, a filter element 3 is provided movably in the axial direction of a casing 2, and an energizing member (a coil spring 17) is mounted between a ceiling part 2a of the casing and the upper end side of the element. Besides, on the bottom end side of the element, an element end plate 16 is provided, and on the bottom face of the element end plate, an outer periphery seal member 26 is provided for, when the element end plate comes near an end plate 4 with the movement of the element, abutting on a specific site of the end plate. Furthermore, between the element end plate and the specific site of the end plate, an inner periphery seal member 27 is mounted for maintaining the state of being compressed between the element end plate and the end plate with the movement of the element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
