Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion composition in which vitamin A fatty acid esters are stabilized in the preparation and is particularly useful as an essence preparation for external use for skin.
SOLUTION: In an oil-in-water type emulsion composition containing vitamin A fatty acid esters as well as oil-soluble antioxidant and a hydrophilic nonionic surfactant, the weight ratio of the hydrophilic nonionic surfactant to the oil components of this oil-in-water type emulsion composition is ≤0.1 and the formulation of the total surfactants is ≤1.0 wt.% based on the whole composition.
