Abstract:
To provide an oilless torque transmission medium that has a large ratio (torque ratio) between shear stress when not being subjected to a magnetic field and shear stress when being subjected to a magnetic field, and to provide a torque transmission device using the same.SOLUTION: An oilless torque transmission medium includes magnetic particles and inorganic particles adhering to the magnetic particles, where a ratio of a compacted bulk density of the magnetic particles while the inorganic particles adhere to the magnetic particles to a density of the magnetic particles is 30% or more and 70% or less.
