Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the oil lubrication structure of a connecting rod which is superior in lubrication performance. CONSTITUTION:A first annular groove 8 is formed on the block side 3c of a cylinder block 3 or on the outer side surface 1d of a crank arm portion 1c, and a second annual groove 9 is formed on the inner side 1e of the crack arm portion 1c or on a rod side surface 5c. Furthermore, a base-end portion oil passage 7 which is connected to the first annular groove 8 is formed in the cylinder block 3, an intermediate portion oil passage 10 which connects the first annular groove to the second annular groove 9 is formed in the crank arm portion 1c, and an end portion oil passage 1 for connecting the second annular groove 9 to lubricating oil blow-out holes 11a and 11b is formed in a connecting rod 4.
