To increase the efficiency of detaching operation for an oil pan having the structure in which the inner space is divided into a plurality of chambers.
This oil pan 130 comprises an oil pan separator 131 and an oil pan cover 132. The oil pan separator 131 is so structured/disposed that the space inside the oil pan cover 132 can be divided into the first chamber 130a and the second chamber 130b. A separator upper flange 131c formed at the upper end of the oil pan separator 131 is supported by a separator support part 132e formed on the oil pan cover 132. The separator support part 132e is formed at a position different from the position where the cover upper flange 32c formed at the upper end of the oil pan cover 132 is joined to the cylinder block lower flange 20b formed at the lower end of a cylinder block 20a.
