Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase apparent volume of a gas chamber by communicating a hollow space formed in a structural material to the gas chamber in an accumu lator. CONSTITUTION:An accumulator 12 provided with a gas chamber 12a therein is installed on the way of a feed oil passage 19 to a control system. The gas chamber 12a is connected with a rubber hose 14 fluidly through a base 13, and the rubber hose 14 is connected with a high pressure vessel. The high pres sure vessel is formed in the arm 16 of an industrial robot. In the right end yoke 16a of the arm 16, a joint port 22 is provided so as to be able to connect with the hose 14, and through this port 22 the gas chamber 12a in the accumula tor 12 is communicated with an inner space 16c in a hollow pipe 21 via the rubber hose 14.
