Abstract:
To provide a technology that can improve oil seal performance on a combination oil ring including a pair of segments and a spacer expander.SOLUTION: In an oil ring, an inner peripheral apex that is a minimum diameter in an inner peripheral surface of a segment disposed on an upper side that is a combustion chamber side is positioned on the combustion chamber side relative to a central position of an inner peripheral surface in an axial direction of an upper side segment in a cross section orthogonal to a circumferential direction of the upper side segment, and a pressing surface of a spacer expander is inclined so as to approach a central axis of the oil ring as proceeding on the combustion chamber side and satisfies 1°≤θ≤20° when θ represents an inclination angle of the pressing surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
