Abstract:
To provide improved catalysts, particularly stereoselective and stereoretentive olefin metathesis catalysts which provide improved activity and Z or E selectivity in olefin metathesis reactions, particularly in cross metathesis reactions.SOLUTION: This invention relates generally to metathesis catalysts and the use of such catalysts in the metathesis of olefins and olefin compounds, and more specifically, the use of such catalysts in Z and E selective olefin metathesis reactions.
