Abstract:

To provide a highly safe oligodeoxynucleotide while having high activity as an immunomodulating agent.

The oligodeoxynucleotide comprises a base sequence represented by formula(I):5'-ACTTTCGTTTTCTGCGTCAA-3'. An immunomodulating agent comprising the above oligodeoxynucleotide as active ingredient is provided. A method for producing the above oligodeoxynucleotide is also provided, being characterized by comprising selecting a DNA fragment having the mitogen activity on mouse- and human-derived B lymphocytes from the genomic DNA of microorganisms belonging to the genus Lactobacillus rhamnosus.
