Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new structure for preventing smoke and a flame from issuing through a gap made between an opening frame and a sliding door body and preventing the spread of fire through the gap.SOLUTION: In an opening device, jambs and horizontal frames are provided along a building opening; a slidable sliding door body 20 is provided within a frame; and fireproof members 54a, 54b and 54c expanding in a case of fire are arranged between a door tail stile 24 of the sliding door body 20 and the jamb (a mullion 40).
