Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the discharge of dust, scattered in accompanied by the opening of a division damper, from a chimney and eliminate the' abrasion of the division damper.
CONSTITUTION: An upstream damper is arranged in the entrance of respective load divisions and a downstream damper is arranged at the outlet port of the same while a desulfurizing tower is arranged at a downstream side. Upon closing a division damper, the downstream damper is closed at first and, subsequently, the upstream damper is closed. Upon opening the division damper, the upstream damper is opened at first and, subsequently, the downstream damper is opened. Dust, scattered in accompanied by the opening and closing of the upstream damper, is attracted to a dust collecting pole in an electric dust collector. Further, the flow of gas to be treated is stopped upon the opening and closing of the upstream damper whereby abrasion in the upstream damper can be restrained. Dust, scattered in accompanied by the closing of the downstream damper, is removed by a desulfurizing and denitrating tower.
