To provide an operation assist having a stretchable belt in a simple structure, which allows the belt to stretch when needed to easily fetch an object located at a distance and can be downsized for carrying when not needed.

The operation assist includes an attachment 28 provided at the chip of first and second belts 26 and 34, and a replaceable working member 29 detachably coupled with the attachment 28. A case 12 includes a first housing part 14 for housing a first rotating drum 24 having the first belt 26 wound and a first opening 18 for pulling out the first belt 26 from the first housing part 14. The case 12 further includes a second housing part 16 for housing a second rotating drum 32 having the second belt 34 wound and a second opening 20 for pulling out the second belt 34 from the second housing part 16. The first and second openings 18 and 20 open toward the same direction.
