Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation system enabling a virtual touch screen display which gives an operation feeling by means of a conventional remote controller.SOLUTION: An operation system includes: a coordinate information generation unit which determines virtual hovering operation that is an air virtual operation on a touch panel when a touch on the touch panel is detected, enters a hovering operation mode for generating two-dimensional coordinate information indicating a touch position and positive-value height position information, and determines virtual touch operation when a specific operation is received during the virtual hovering operation, to generate two-dimensional coordinates indicating the touch position and a zero-value height position information; a display control unit which superimposes a predetermined hovering cursor on a display unit in a display position corresponding to a two-dimensional position of the virtual hovering operation, with respect to a key image; and a function information output unit which outputs function information assigned to a corresponding key when the virtual touch operation is performed.
