Abstract:
To provide a new agent for promoting secretion of tear liquid useful for the treatment of ophthalmic diseases especially accompanying with the decrease of the tear liquid such as dry eye, etc.
This agent for promoting secretion of tear liquid contains a peptide expressed by His-Ser-Asp-Gly-Ile-Phe-Thr-Asp-Ser-Tyr-Ser-Arg-Tyr-Arg-Lys-Gln-Met-Ala-Val-Lys-Lys-Tyr-Leu-Ala-Ala-Val-Leu, a peptide expressed by His-Ser-Asp-Gly-Ile-Phe-Thr-Asp-Ser-Tyr-Ser-Arg-Tyr-Arg-Lys-Gln-Met-Ala-Val-Lys-Lys-Tyr-Leu-Ala-Ala-Val-Leu-Gly-Lys-Arg-Tyr-Lys-Gln-Arg-Val-Lys-Asn-Lys or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts.
