Title:
OPTICAL APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009159268
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To remove foreign matters such as dusts adhering to the front surface of an optical member within a short period of time with a small amount of electrical power.

An optical apparatus includes an imaging element as a member to which light is projected to focus an optical image, an infrared cutting filter arranged in front of the imaging element, a piezoelectric element for giving vibration to the infrared cutting filter, and an elastic member that is arranged surrounding the sight of the imaging element to be placed in contact with the infrared cutting filter. In this optical apparatus, the center of the elastic member is arranged in the upper side with respect to the center of the imaging field and the upward amplitude is larger than the downward amplitude with respect to the center of the imaging field. Accordingly, more stable removing performance can be provided by lowering probability for re-adhesion of foreign matters, which have been once separated from the infrared cutting filter, within the imaging field.
