Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector connecting structure for an optical waveguide device which is capable of freely attachably and detachably connecting optical connectors with easy and practicable means.
SOLUTION: This connecting structure for freely attachably and detachably connecting optical connectors 2 in which optical fibers 4 are aligned at a desired number and intervals to both input and output end sides of the optical waveguide device 1 in which optical waveguides are formed, is constituted by arranging at least one of the optical connectors 2 of the input and output ends at the recessed part of a housing body for housing the optical waveguide device 1 so that the optical connectors are made movable only in the optical axis direction. Mechanisms for applying elastic restoring force in a connecting end face direction are formed on the opposite surfaces of the connecting end faces movable in the optical axis direction of the inner flanks.
