Abstract:
To provide an optical disk having a label printing surface for a high-definition picture with a high level of light fade stability by an ink jet system, and its label manufacturing method.
It is characterized in that a ink receiving layer 5 is set up on an optical disk substrate 1 by the side of a label printing surface, and a protective layer 7 made of transparent resin which is water resistant and soluble in nonaqueous solvent and can be formed into a plastic film at normal temperature is formed on a label picture printing surface printable by a ink jet printer.
