PURPOSE: To conduct bar graph display with high resolution by using a general purpose LED.

CONSTITUTION: General purpose LEDs 7 are arranged in rows to form a plurality of light emitting element rows 9, 11. Respective LEDs 7 are arranged to be displaced to each other between the light emitting element rows 9, 11. On the way of an optical axis from the light emitting element row 9 a reflecting mirror 23 is arranged at an incident angle of 45°, while on the way of an optical axis from the light emitting element row 11 a reflecting mirror 25 is arranged at an incident angle of 45°. The reflecting mirrors 23, 25 are provided with a plurality of comb tooth shape mirror pieces 23a, 25a corresponding to respective LEDs 7, and they are inserted between each other. Consequently, when viewed from the front of the reflecting mirrors 23, 25, emitted light beams from respective LEDs 7 in the element rows 9, 11 are observed to be in a single row.
