Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the manhour of production while securing stable characteristics by easing the mechanical accuracy of respective parts in an optical connector. CONSTITUTION:An optical beam projected from an optical fiber 3 is converged by a Fresnel lens 11 and combined to an opposite side optical fiber 3. An optical glass plate 12 arranged in parallel with the groove face of the lens 11 prevents the groove face of the lens 11 from the adhesion of dust or the like and the lens 11 and the glass plate 12 are unitedly and finely moved in the direction rectangular to the optical axis of the fiber 3 by means of an adjusting screw 13 and an adjusting mechanism for a spring 14.
