To provide the optical cable with the connector which makes it easy and safe to fit the connector.
The optical fiber cable which has tension members 3 and 4 embedded and arranged in the outermost coating layer 5 covering a coated optical fiber 2 is connected by inserting the tip of the coated optical fiber 2 which is exposed by cutting the outermost coating layer 5 into a ferrule 11 and a metal sleeve 10 arranged at the outer periphery nearby the tip of the optical fiber 2 and the ferrule 11 are coupled by a frame 13; while the tension members 3 and 4 are embedded in the cut outermost coating layer 5, the outermost coating layer 5 is arranged at the outer periphery of the other-end side of the metal sleeve 10 and those outermost coating layer 5 and tension members 3 and 4 are fixed to the metal sleeve 10 in one body by being caulked with a caulking ring 14.
