To provide an optical fiber cable, which has flexure durability and can be easily laid by pushing into a ductwork.
An optical fiber cable includes a coated optical fiber 10, a pair of tension members 12 extending in an extending direction of the coated optical fiber 10 and parallel to each other interposing the coated optical fiber 10, and a sheath 14 covering the coated optical fiber 10 and the pair of tension members 12, in which a cross section perpendicular to the extending direction shows a major diameter in an opposing direction of the pair of tension members 12 and a minor diameter in a direction perpendicular to the opposing direction. The pair of tension members 12 comprises a glass fiber reinforced plastic having a diameter of 0.7 mm or more and 1 mm or less. The sheath 14 has a coefficient of friction of 0.3 or less, with the major diameter of 4 mm or less and the minor diameter of 2.8 mm or less.
