To provide an optical fiber connector which is provided with a dust- proof shutter and to which an optical fiber plug should be inserted.

The optical fiber connector is provided with a shutter 3 which is provided with a housing 32 having an aperture part 34 for storing the optical fiber plug, an optical semiconductor terminal 331 installed in the rear part of the housing, and a slide groove 314 and includes a slide body 311 and a revolving shaft 313. The slide body installed in the front end part of the aperture part closes the aperture part by the revolving shaft. The shutter is stored in the aperture part by rotation or sliding before the optical fiber plug is inserted to a receptacle, and the shutter closes the aperture part again by rotation or sliding after the optical fiber plug is extracted.
