Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laying utensil and a laying method that enable an optical fiber striatum along concaves or a convex of window sashes or the like, and a cutting tool for use therein.SOLUTION: According to a method of laying an optical fiber striatum 11 along a member surface 30a having concaves 24 and 25 or a convex 23 by using a laying utensil 10, the laying utensil 10 is equipped with a pair of clamps rotatably linked to each other at a fulcrum body 7 and an energizing body 3 for giving energy to them. The clamps have first and second pressing pieces 5 and 6 extending in directions different from each other. The optical fiber striatum 11 is pressed by second pressing pieces 6 and 6 against inner faces 24a and 24c of the concaves 24 and 25. The optical fiber striatum 11 is pressed against inner faces 23a and 23b of the convex 23 by first pressing pieces 5 and 5. The optical fiber striatum 11 so shaped as to run along the concaves 24 and 25 or the convex 23 are pasted and fixed to the applicable face with a tape-shaped fixing piece 28.
