Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a specific coated optical fiber to be easily identified from multiple coated optical fibers.SOLUTION: An optical fiber unit 20 is configured such that multiple coated optical fiber tapes 10, each of which has multiple coated optical fibers arranged in parallel in a row and the adjacent coated optical fibers intermittently coupled to each other by coupling portions and non-coupling portions in a longitudinal direction, are tied in a bundle. The coated optical fiber tapes 10 are intermittently provided with color bands 5 in the longitudinal direction, and either or both of an interval and a color of the color bands 5 are different from each other in the multiple coated optical fiber tapes 10.
