Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which simply and also surely mounts an optical filter that shields electromagnetic waves.
SOLUTION: An optical filter 2 that forms a transparent electrode 2a, etc., for the purpose of shielding electromagnetic waves needlessly radiate from a PDP 1, etc., is arranged in front of a display plane 1a of the PDP(plasma display panel) 1. The filter 2 is constructed by forming a transparent electrode film such as vapor disposition on a transparent base plate, e.g. such as acrylic plate. A front frame 3 is made of synthetic resin and a part of inner side of the frame 3 is cut and raised to from a blade spring 4. A hook-shaped nail 5 mounted on, e.g. a plate-shape pole 5b which is elected inside the frame 3 is attached to the opposite plane of an optical filter of the spring 4. When the filter 2 is inserted between the spring 4 and the nail 5, the electrode, 2a of the optical filter is brought into contact with a housing conductive film 3a that is formed on the inner side of the frame 3 and the surface of the spring 4 and is grounded through the film 3a.
