Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-dispersion optical glass which suppresses volatilization of glass components and variation in quality due to variation of the glass composition when an optical glass composed of a fluorophosphate glass is manufactured or the obtained glass is allowed to flow out from a pipe in a molten state and molded into a glass molding.SOLUTION: An optical glass is composed of a fluorophosphate glass having an Abbe number (ν) of greater than 70 and a molar ratio O/Pof the content of Oto the content of Pof 3.5 or higher.
