To facilitate the control of the projection position of guide light by supporting a light emitter on a mobile member movable in the directions orthogonal to each other within a horizontal plane through a spherical pair, in an optical guide apparatus which enables reproduction of hose, car racing or the like to be applied for a racing game apparatus offering forecasting contest of the order of reaching goal among model bodys.
Individual model bodys 60 simulating racing horses of a racing game apparatus have racing bodies 2 lower parts of which are linked by a magnetic force to a model body guide apparatus 40 runnable to be guided following the running of the apparatus A plurality of optical guide devices 20 are arranged below the guide apparatus 40 to project guide light L such as laser light. The guide light is projected to one guide device 40 from the optical guide devices 20 to guide the guide device 40 to an arbitrary position by varying the projection position of the guide light. In this process, the optical guide devices 20 is provided with a light emitter 30, a light emitter holding part 39 for forming a spherical pair and a link member 29 which sretchably holds the light emitter 30 below the holding part to form a spherical pair with a moving member 22.
