Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the subject device from being influenced by a vibration inside the device and a vibration from the exterior by providing an optical scale with a member for attenuating an optical scale vibration. CONSTITUTION:Plates 22a and 22b made of rubber are stuck as a means for preventing vibrations to a linear encoder plate 28, where one end part is positioned by a pin 21 force-fed into a strunt 20, and the other end part is bent at nearly right angle by a strunt 23 at the fixed to a member 25 with a screw hole by a screw. By this method, vibrations at the time of starting or stopping an optical head and vibrations from outside of the device are satisfactorily attenuated, so that the accurate access movement of the optical head is feasible without oscillating a driving circuit.
