Abstract:
To suppress degradation in the visibility of an image by suppressing generation of unevenness in rainbows.SOLUTION: An optical member 20 faces a display surface 11 of a display device 10. The optical member 20 includes a circular polarization board 25 and an optical sheet 30 deposited on the circular polarization board 25. The optical sheet 30 includes a plurality of first parts 33 arranged in a first direction d1, each of the first parts extending in a second direction d2 perpendicular to the first direction d1; and second parts 35 arranged in the first direction d1, the first parts 33 and the second parts 35 being arranged alternately. The first parts 33 have a width along the first direction d1, which becomes larger in a position closer to the circular polarization board 25. The index of refraction of the first parts 33 is larger than that of the second parts 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
