Abstract:
To prevent or suppress a situation in which engine speed displayed on a speed meter is unnecessarily changed when operated at a lean air-fuel ratio while displaying actual engine speed on the speed meter with good response.SOLUTION: A display device of a vehicle includes: a speed sensor S1 which detects engine speed; and a speed meter 2 which displays the engine speed. A controller U switches an air-fuel ratio of air-fuel mixture supplied to an engine between a rich air-fuel ratio equal to or less than a theoretical air-fuel ratio and a lean air-fuel ratio larger than the theoretical air-fuel ratio on the basis of an operation state of the engine. The controller U performs annealing processing of the engine speed detected by the speed sensor S1 and causes the speed meter 2 to display the engine speed after the annealing processing. When the engine is operated at the lean air-fuel ratio, an annealing degree is increased as compared with when operated at the rich air-fuel ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
