Abstract:

To provide an optical module and an optical connector ferrule which are inexpensive and highly-reliable, and to provide a method of manufacturing them.

An optical module 10 has an optical connector ferrule 22 as an optical interface, and at least part of the optical connector ferrule 22 is formed by sealing with mold resin 28. The optical connector ferrule 22 is made of a resin material and is formed by sealing with the mold resin at a molding temperature lower than the deflection temperature of the resin material under load.
