Title:
OPTICAL MONITOR SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3709372
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical monitor system that can monitor all laser diodes provided in an optical array.
SOLUTION: This optical monitor system includes a substrate, a parallel- channel optical array 44 having a plurality of independent channels respectively including optical transmitters for discharging input beams 32, and an array of detectors 28 which are exclusively used to the input beams 32, respectively. The monitor system also includes an optical device 10 which is arranged so that the input beams 32 may be made incident to the device 10, has such an optical characteristic that causes parts of the beams 32 to be diffracted to their corresponding detectors 28, and causes the detectors 28 to operate to generate first feedback signals 90 corresponding to the diffracted parts of the beams 32 and a feedback system 30 which is constituted to separately adjust the beams 32 in response to the first feedback signals 90.
