An optical information reader 10 is equipped with two fan-shaped lenses 51 positioned on an optical path of each direct light irradiated from a plurality of LED's 32, capable of changing the emission direction of a plurality of entering direct lights into the optional direction individually of in each prescribed assembly; and a position adjusting mechanism 40 capable of adjusting positions of the fan-shaped lenses 51 between the plurality of LED's 32 and the reading object, on the optical path of the direct lights.
